S...Oh I'm so pleased it struck a chord (Sorry!) Sometimes things only make sense when you can connect them to other things - education in schools today maybe doesn't allow for too much of that. When I'm teaching music to my little pupils I always try to connect what they're learning back to other things. For one, and let's just get this out of the way, seahorses are awesome. More importantly, I have long been intrigued by the connections between music and literature. As a guitarist and writer, I can't help but notice a tremendous amount of overlap. You can understand my delight, then, when the topic came up in this post.
